Wow. This has got to be the first time I've gone a full year without getting sick of my websites looks and redesigning the whole thing. I guess that means I'm getting better at it. Heh.

Still not much news on the web design front. The only real thing thats changed is the preview thumbnails on the web design page. The DPGames site has looked different for quite some time now. I just never got round to altering the image. Also, there were a few problems with some of the links on this site that I never noticed before. Some of them were just carelessness on my part but most of them are just dead links to sites that ceased to be a while back.

I intend to redesign the downloads page on the DPGames site as soon as I find time. Its just a cluttered mess after the redesign and I really need to knuckle down and rebuild it.

Its been almost 7 months since the site was last updated. Unfortunatly with work and the sheer amount of projects that I have going on at the moment, I have little time to keep on top of it.

However, a recent turn of events concerning the game design side of things means that I currently find myself with a lot more free time. As such I shall once again turn my attention towards web development and graphic design so as to improve on this site as well as complete 2 more that really should have been completed by now.

For now, all I can muster is this news post and a new header image. I have to sleep otherwise I will never make it to my REAL job in the morning. Catch you later.

The site has had a bit of a sort over the course of the last 2 hours. Although I am not proud to admit it seems that I made a few schoolboy errors with the HTML code. The main one was not checking it. All of the pages now have valid code and I am also checking over spelling and grammar to ensure I don't make any mistakes there as well.

I have removed the Coffee After Midnight website from the internet as it was using up webspace and hard drive space, all the while not actually being used for anything.

Also, I plan to add a review section to my blog which should be up when I get time. My PC is being formatted on Friday so things are pretty hectic at the moment but with a clean slate I will be able to knuckle down and finish some of my current assignments.

Until then my friends...

Welcome to the new and improved version of Urbanebula.co.uk. This site acts as my portfolio / homepage. I decided I did not care for the simplistic design I was using prior to this one and as such I have not saved it for my portfolio.

Rather than simply altering the CSS code as I did with my previous 2 versions of this site, I have completely recoded the XHTML as well and given the site an entirely new set-up.

Each area of interest to me now has its own page rather than being grouped into one big, cluttered portfolio page and I think this makes the site look a lot more presentable. Also the links down the left hand side of the page now change on mouseover making it easier to navigate the links and giving the site a more interesting interface.

I am currently working on a website for a friend and will soon start working on another for someone else so I'm pretty busy at the moment. However I will still find time to write in my new blog which is hosted at Wordpress.com which will cover whats going on in my personnal life. I have kept this blog seperate from the main site so that this index page can be kept purely for proffesional matters such as site and coding updates.
